Ensure that firewall policies align with the organization's security policies and compliance requirements. Network Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Continuously monitor network traffic and firewall logs to detect and respond to security incidents. Investigate and troubleshoot firewall-related issues, including performance and connectivity problems. Security Best Practices: Stay updated on the latest security threats, vulnerabilities, and industry best practices related to Palo Alto firewalls. Implement security best practices to safeguard the organization's network and data. Documentation and Reporting: Training and Knowledge Sharing: Stay current with Palo Alto Networks' products and certifications. Provide training and knowledge sharing to team members and IT staff on firewall-related topics. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). Certification in Palo Alto Networks, such as PCNSE ( Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer). Strong knowledge of network security principles and practices. Proficiency in configuring and managing Palo Alto firewalls and related technologies. Experience with network protocols, VPN configurations, and security policies.
