Checkpoint - Firewall Engineer Responsible for processing and implementing firewall policy change requests. This position will be involved with firewall policy design, deployment, troubleshooting, and security analysis. This position will be involved with taking business requirements and translate them into firewall policy in a large, complex enterprise environment following all corporate change and security policies and procedures. Job Description : Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Process firewall change requests in ServiceNow, converting business requirements into firewall policy. Implement firewall policy changes following enterprise change manage procedures during evening change windows. Deploy, support and maintain Site to Site VPNs Participate in the troubleshooting of possible firewall issues by reviewing logs and packet captures. Be able to distinguish between routing issues, application issues, and firewall issues. Participate is reviewing existing policy for security issues and optimization.
