Job Type: Long-Term Contract Working Hours: 40 hours/ Week Note: Candidate Location allowed only from MA/RI/CT/NH/VT/ME (Other states Candidates will not Considered. Local Photo ID Required Job Description: Position Summary: The Senior BI Architect will also research and recommend a new enterprise-level BI tool, work with business teams to gain consensus on that tool and help train users on how to use it. Responsibilities: To be considered for this position, the candidate must demonstrate specific experience in: Leading the design and implementation of semantic layers on top of Snowflake and/or Postgres, in an MS Azure environment. Analyzing business needs and recommending an appropriate BI tool that will provide the required performance for Data Analysts. Leading a business-wide BI solution implementation. Assisting staff in a consulting capacity, with implementing and using BI tools and technologies. Troubleshooting BI issues and problems and providing support to BI users. Working with Health Care data, preferably in the payer space. Cloud technologies, preferably MS Azure and Snowflake. Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have: Demonstrated project experience with multiple leading cloud BI tools. 5+ years experience working in the Business Intelligence space at an Architect level. 5+ years experience implementing BI solutions in Azure cloud environments. 2+ years experience working with Snowflake and Postgres databases. Demonstrable experience in evaluating business needs and implementing BI strategies to meet those needs. A combination of technical expertise and leadership skills to effectively navigate the complexities supporting multiple in-house business units.
