The candidate will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of scalable Java applications in the Google Cloud Platform (P). This role requires strong technical leadership skills, extensive Java full stack programming knowledge, and experience with P. Responsibilities: Lead the design, development, testing, and deployment of highly scalable and secure Java applications on the Google Cloud Platform. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of software engineers, ensuring the highest levels of quality and performance. Collaborate with product managers, architects, and other stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Manage the full software development life cycle including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations. Architect and design data modeling and data integration strategies within P. Ensure the compliance of the developed applications with architectural standards and guidelines. Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide timely solutions. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure the applications are current and competitive. Qualifications: Minimum of 10 years of experience in Java full stack application development. Minimum of 3 years of experience with Google Cloud Platform (P). Proven experience in leading the design, development, and deployment of Java applications on P. Strong knowledge of Java, J2EE, Spring Framework, Hibernate, and other related technologies. Experience with cloud services like Google App Engine, Google Compute Engine, Google Cloud Storage, Google Cloud SQL, etc. Strong understanding of microservices architecture and RESTful API development. Strong experience with Javascript framework such as React, Angular and others. Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
