Role: Mainframe Lead developer/Architect Location: Chicago, IL Rate: $50-60/hr on C2C 12+ Months Job Description: Mainframe experience with 10 years with below skills o JCL programming(DFSORT to generate reports & strong in Support activity). o DB2(Should be able to write more complex queries in DB2 that are able to join more tables). o VSAM (experience knowledge in defining and programming using in KSDS, ESDS & RRDS). o COBOL + DB2 Programming. o DB2 Stored Procedure is required. o Knowledge of CICS (Beginner) and MQ(Beginner) is required. Good knowledge and hands-on experience on IBM utilities, Control-M, File-Aid, SPUFI. Version control tool preferably SCLM or Endevor. Experience on L2/L3 Support. Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills. Communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical audiences. Good to have below but not mandatory - Pl/1 & Assembler will be an advantage. Exposure to Dev Ops. Exposure to Service Now, APV, and Dynatrace. Should have experience in moving Source Code/Programs from SCLM to GitHub. Mainframe SAS. GIT HUB.
