Leads most technical aspects of implementing project release upgrades for assigned systems. Develops applications to help solve database solutions to business problems. Develops and implements techniques to prevent system problems, troubleshoot incidents, and support root cause analysis. Designs, implements, and maintains databases with respect to access methods, access time, batch processes, device allocation, validation checks, organization, protection, and security. Leads, trains, and mentors less experienced Administrators. Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related IT field. 8 years of experience performing full data management duties, including migration and continuous integration/delivery. Proficient with SQL performance and tuning. High-level analytical and troubleshooting skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal. Ability to train others. In-depth knowledge of Oracle, DB2, MS SQL Server, and similar databases. Knowledge of structured query language (SQL).
