Strong experience with Linux system administration Overview: Systems/DevOps Automation Engineer responsible for the automation (Ansible/Python) of the rollout of Linux servers running on OpenStack. This role focuses on the build and preparation of thousands of servers before deployment. Key Responsibilities: Provide detailed end-to-end engineering, simulation, and analysis to support our network engineering teams in developing, deploying, and troubleshooting complex systems. Strong experience with Linux system administration (RHEL8/RHEL9), including configurations of DHCP, NTP, and DNS within RHEL deployed servers. Scripting experience with Ansible, Bash, and Python. Networking knowledge including VLAN, CIDR, IPv4, and IPv6. Experience with enterprise server hardware. Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues. Database administration/optimization with a preference for PostgreSQL. Strong focus on automation using Python and Ansible. Develop and maintain infrastructure through CI/CD pipelines with automated build and automated testing. Provide operations support, including optimization of resource utilization, and end-user support following incident management protocols. Conduct requirements gathering, design, code development, testing, QA, and production support. Facilitate deployments and migration plan execution. Implement automation tools and frameworks (CI/CD). Additional Requirements: Comfortable asking questions and proactive in addressing issues when stuck. Ability to submit detailed requests for vendor support.
