Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) from the International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA) or Project Management Institute Professional in Business Analysis (PMI-PBA) At least eight (8) years of work experience applying analytical processes in Information Technology (IT) Business Analysis At least five (5) years of experience with process analysis & mapping (ex. As-Is & To-Be), systems analysis, preparing RACI Matrix, requirements elicitation, maintaining a requirement traceability matrix, stakeholder management, preparing technical specifications. At least five (5) years of work experience on the initiation, planning, design, development, enhancement, modification and support of large IT projects for the State of California. At least eight (8) years of broad, extensive and increasingly responsible Business Analysis project experience applying business systems analysis and design principles, methods, techniques, and tools. (At least three (3) years of that experience must have been in a lead capacity, with a project duration greater than one (1) year and a budget exceeding $15 million in implementation cost.) At least one (1) year work experience on projects using the California Department of Technology (CDT) Project Management Framework (PMF). At least three (3) years of experience gathering, analyzing, and composing functional and non-functional requirements & information. At least ten (10) years of work experience applying analytical processes in Information Technology (IT) Business Analysis At least eight (8) years of experience with process analysis & mapping (ex. As-Is & To-Be), systems analysis, preparing Responsible, Accountable, Consulted, Informed (RACI) Matrix, requirements elicitation, maintaining a requirement traceability matrix, stakeholder management, preparing technical specifications. At least three (3) years work experience on projects using the California Department of Technology (CDT) Project Management Framework (PMF). At least five (5) years of experience gathering, analyzing, and composing functional and non-functional requirements & information. At least one (1) year performing business systems analysis and design for at least one (1) project working with Agile project management and Agile software development and implementation; including developing sprints; creating themes, epics, user stories, detailed design; in addition, experience subdividing proposed work into logical sprints for the development team. At least one (1) year performing business systems analysis and design for at least one (1) State of California reportable IT Project subject to the CDT, IT Project Oversight Framework as defined in SAM Section 4819.37 within the last five (5) years.
