They must be available to work onsite 3 days a week. Role Type: Contract to Hire Length of Contract: 6 months Responsibilities Deliver platforms that meet defined requirements from the Business / Application delivery teams. Adheres to corporate policies and provides quality of service for application platform infrastructure. Manage multiple priorities and tasks in support of corporate initiatives. Continuous development of efficient processes and automation. Compliance with Operational Processes: Daily Operations, Change Management & Problem Management Mentoring and development of team members to reach their potential. Following and documenting processes, ensuring systems meet defined SLA's and implementing established security standards. Leads or participates in (un)planned maintenance outages which are well organized, with effectively communicated goals and executed to meet desired results. Performs and reports statistics for team and system health checks on an appropriate frequency. Responds to customer/client requirements and develops and/or implements programs or technical solutions to satisfy customer/client requests. Adheres to defined service level agreements. Required Skills and Experience A minimum of seven years of experience as a technology manager working in an enterprise IT environment Must have experience with performance reviews, hiring, and mentoring a team of technology professionals. Seven years of experience working with infrastructure technology Must have experience supporting technology in one of the following: OpenShift, Linux or Windows OS Must have engineering experience with one of the following, networking, storage, firewalls and load balancing. Preferred Skills and Experience Skills in Ansible and Ansible Tower for automation of code deployments Supporting a wide range of operating systems and cloud technologies Experience supporting applications in an on-premises and cloud environment in either Azure, AWS or Azure Experience with platform, virtualization technologies, cloud technologies and container technologies .
