Bring your extensive expertise in firewall and network administration, with a strong emphasis on firewall management, to ensure robust network security. From performing hands-on firewall administration to managing cloud security and adhering to regulatory compliance, you'll play a pivotal role in safeguarding our systems and data. Job Description: Seasoned Expertise: 7+ years of experience in firewall and network administration, with a focus on firewall management. Firewall Mastery: Hands-on experience in firewall administration, including maintenance, upgrades, testing, and configuration changes. Versatile Knowledge: Proficiency in router and switch administration, with expertise in Palo Alto, Cisco ASA, and Check Point firewalls. Cloud Security: Experience with AWS, Azure, and Palo Alto Prisma. Architecture Acumen: Desired experience in firewall and security architecture. Best Practice Savvy: Strong understanding of firewall management and cybersecurity principles. Documentation Proficiency: Skilled in developing and updating technical documentation using tools like Visio. Tool Proficiency: Experience with ServiceNow (SNOW) and network monitoring tools. SOP Development: Ability to generate and leverage Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Security Alert Management: Familiarity with investigating IDS/IPS alerts. Regulatory Compliance: Understanding of PCI principles and best practices. Process Adherence: Familiarity with ITIL principles, problem and change management, and trend reporting. Communication Skills: Effective written and verbal communication abilities. Availability: Daytime on-call duties required. Work Environment: Remote or office-based work as needed.
