Review business requirement documents (BRD), user stories and translate into technical specifications. Work from technical specifications to independently develop, modify and maintain software products Including data ingestion and extract jobs. Analyze and troubleshoot problems and make recommendations for remediation. Perform Tier One/Tier Two Production Support as required. Provide status updates to management. Monitor Inbound and Outbound Extracts jobs; logs and Control & Balance reports. Ability to monitor and investigate API request/ response logs. Familiarity with APIGEE and API desired. Take corrective actions and escalations based on stablished & documented Ops Support procedures. Manages interactions with external vendors and clients. Directly interacts with internal customers and manages customer expectations. Knowledge: Requires intermediate knowledge of software development life cycle methodology. Requires Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Data platform and data warehouse functionality and standards. Requires intermediate knowledge of AWS Cloud services. Requires knowledge of relational database management systems (Including Redshift , Dynamo DB). Knowledge and some experience of API concepts and principles, including APIGEE gateway desired. Demonstrates understanding of core business functions and IT systems scope. Strong analytical and Problem-solving skills required to investigate, identify and resolve production support problems (job Failures, missing files, etc.) Demonstrates ability to apply structure to a loosely defined problem. Ability to perform basic to advanced data analysis functions to address Data quality issues. Knowledge of membership, provider and claims data domains are a plus. Skills and Abilities: Requires demonstrated proficiency in application programming. Requires proficiency in SQL and Redshift database & Dynamo DB. Requires excellent oral and written communication skills. Requires excellent analytical & problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Requires excellent organizational and time management skills. Requires ability to lead and/or manage multiple tasks.
