Job Title: Infrastructure Network Engineer Location: Tampa, FL Duration: 06 12 Months Start Date: ASAP Job Details: Job Description: Seeking a capable individual who can seamlessly step into this role, possessing extensive experience to facilitate knowledge transfer and exhibit self-starting qualities. Key Requirements: Proficiency in network-related tasks including routing, switching, and a robust understanding of physical infrastructure such as cabling and power requirements, including optics and connectivity challenges. Familiarity with ongoing design processes and the ability to identify and adapt to changes that impact network functionality. CCNP Certification is required, with a preference for candidates possessing equivalent expertise. Hands-on experience with configurations, rack and stack procedures, and the ability to contribute to the development of an AV lab. Strong awareness of infrastructure design principles and an aptitude for navigating physical changes, including migration planning and prototype implementation of ACI. Ability to review construction drawings, identify discrepancies, and ensure the completion of necessary infrastructure modifications. Proficiency with network management tools such as Solar Winds, DNAC, and Kettle Center, as well as experience with IOS and XE on Catalyst devices. Prior experience with NERC-related protocols and a willingness to undergo background checks and related training. Responsibilities: Collaborate with internal teams to address design gaps and implement solutions that align with organizational objectives. Execute hands-on tasks related to infrastructure configuration, including physical racking of switches and patching. Engage in proactive documentation and diagramming to ensure clarity and continuity in network operations. Work closely with team members to integrate seamlessly and contribute effectively to ongoing projects. Ideal Candidate Will Have: Strong physical/infrastructure skills related to power, racks, cabling. Strong Cisco Network Design skills who can match the proper approved solutions to the requirements. Excellent diagramming, documentation and discovery skills who can help to document the existing environments and provide the details needed for the proper planning to the BOC. Experience with ACI, Infoblox, NX-OS, OSPF and BGP routing, DNA-C/Catalyst Center, LiveAction, Solarwinds.
