Description:

The worker's responsibilities and skills must include:

Previous experience with and expert knowledge of ServiceNow capabilities

Mapping processes and designing technical solutions to address pain points,
improve processes and

increase automation.

Gathering business, functional, and non-functional requirements.

Defining product themes, epics, user stories and product features.

Facilitating prioritization sessions for the product backlog.

Facilitating sprint planning sessions to establish a sprint backlog.

Documenting requirements and system design using approved agency formats.

Being a creative thinker to solve business issues.

Mediating business units that may have conflicting requirements.

Assisting in the translation of business requirements into detailed technical
specifications.

Facilitating and documenting AS-IS and TO-BE process flows and system design.

Writing test cases and scripts to validate code is working as documented.

Writing release notes and training documentation.

WORKER SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS (Required)

Minimum (Required): insert specific minimum skills for this Contract Position)

Years Skills/Experience

5 Experience with general IT SDLC processes

5 Experience working with ServiceNow / ServiceNow projects

5 Skilled in working on agile projects utilizing scrum and waterfall
methodologies

5 Skilled in extracting business, functional and non-functional requirements
from

business units and IT staff

5 Skilled in test case planning and quality assurance reviews of test scripts

5 Skilled in QA/QC reviews

5 Experience analyzing raw data

5 Skilled in documenting requirements and translating functional requirements
to

technical specifications

5 Experienced in establishing and maintaining a sprint backlog

5 Experience in creating written communications and training for business users

5 Possess strong verbal and written skills in communicating with peers and
different

levels of users including executive staff

5 Skilled in mediating business units with conflicting and competing business

requirements

5 Skilled in facilitating large group meetings with internal and external
resources

Years Skills/Experience

2 Experience with one or more state of Texas government agencies

2 Experience with ServiceNow Security Operations or GRC

2 ServiceNow certification
