Job Title: Linux Architect OR Automation Engineer Location: Tampa, FL (Onsite) Duration: 12 Months Start Date: ASAP Job Details: Requirement SUSE Manager Saltstack NIST/CSF hardening This consultant is required onsite 5 days a week in Tampa. We will get reasonable travel/expenses covered. Extensive knowledge of and administration/implementation experience with the following: RHEL 7/8/9 SLES/SLES for SAP 15 SPx-y CentOS 7/8 Oracle Linux 7 Ubuntu Extensive experience in the Implementation of NIST or similar hardening and best practices. Architect Level Experience with the following: SUSE Manager (SUMA) and Salt/YAML/Jinja (code) Common industry automation tools and techniques MS AD integration tools and techniques Golden image development, maintenance and deployment (various Linux distributions) Application package management and deployment (via SUMA) Leading integration efforts with ServiceNow (API or other) SLES for SAP Live patching implementation and administration Liberty Linux conversion / SUSE SCC portal management Linux in-place upgrades K8s and CNCF tools Diagramming and technical documentation. Extensive Knowledge of VMWare/ Virtual environments. Networking Knowledge, to include network configuration, protocols, and firewalls. What are the top 3 tasks for the Architect coming in the door SUSE Manager, NIST/CSF hardening familiarity, automation tooling. Is there one area of expertise that would complement the team Architect level experience with all listed Linux distros as well as SUSE Manager.
