We are looking for: Major Duties and Responsibilities Participates in wireless network planning, wireless network architecture design and engineering. Integrates and schematically depicts communication architectures, topologies, hardware, software, transmission and signaling links and protocols into complete wireless network configurations. Evaluates new products, performs wireless network problem resolution. Develops and implements approved methods of procedure. Designs, develops and implements wireless network enhancements and makes recommendations for improvement. Performing planning, forecasting, implementation, and identification of resource requirements for wireless network systems of high complexity. Designs, develops and implements wireless network enhancements and makes recommendations for improvement. Responsible for implementation of wireless network architecture and designs. Required Qualifications Proficient data wireless networking knowledge (OSI Model, TCP/IP, etc.). Proficient knowledge of related wireless industry specifications and standards IEEE, ANSI, 802.11 variants, Bridging, Switching, Routing, Ethernet and Transport technologies and protocols. Proficient knowledge in wireless network design, wireless network architecture, protocols and wireless network topology. Proficient knowledge of basic wireless network devices and basic wireless network appliances. Proficient knowledge of wireless network designing software, such as Visio and knowledge of Microsoft Office. Required Work and Education Experience 10+ Wireless Network experience. Cisco Certified Wireless Network Professional (CCNP) Wireless industry and vendor specific training (Cisco, Ariss, Ruckus, etc.). Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field or equivalent work experience. Skills Lab testing of hardware (CPE preferred) In depth knowledge of the 802.11 protocol (able to speak on differences and features) Experience creating test cases that investigate and validate HW compliance with 802.11 protocols and features Keywords / Qualifications Equipment : Ixia, Spirent, Octoscope, Octobox, Keysight, Rhode and Schwarz, WaveApps, WaveQoE Wireshark, Performance Testing, conducted, over-the-air, attenuator, traffic generator Test Case : Requirement gathering, SLA creation, documentation creation Software : Jira, Chalk/Confluence, TestRail, Excel, Python, command line, TCL, Webex Certifications : CWNP, CWS, CWNA, CWT, CWAP, CWNE, CWIxx, CCNA Soft Skills Attention to detail, meticulous Able to work individually with low supervision, thriving in a collaborative environment Loves continually learning, comfort with not having answers but confident on getting them Intrinsically motivated Excellent emotional intelligence handling social situations, stress management, self regulation Excellent communication skills Om Verma Tech.
