Role :: AEM Developer Location :: New York, NY Onsite Duration :: Contract (long term) Job Description: Position Overview: MSIM Marketing Tech Data Development Lead will be responsible for working on suite of applications with hands-on BU interface, application design, development and production support for Java & Sybase based application platforms in the field of Digital Marketing and Content Management. The position will report into a Head of Marketing Ops within Marketing Technology. The right candidate (Responsibilities): Manages small to medium scale strategic initiatives/projects, enhances process standards and best practices, and support escalations for production systems. Has excellent analytical and problem-solving skills that are coupled with strong communication; anticipates issues and deals with them proactively. Demonstrates a passion for technology innovation balanced with a pragmatic approach to developing and deploying solutions that best benefit the business. Strong interpersonal skills and good team spirit is required in addition to proficiency in verbal and written business communication. Primary Skills: We are looking for a passionate technologist who is ready to learn and experiment with a wide range of technologies. The ideal candidate will have: Bachelor's degree in computer science, with 8 to 10 years of professional development experience, and at least 4+ years of Financial Services industry experience. Excellent problem-solving skills, goal-oriented, self-motivated and adapts to changing situations and requirements. Collaborates with Tech team members as well business stakeholders to understand requirements, application solution, development, testing and rollout. Enhance the process standards and best practices and support L3 issues for currently live systems. Expert-level experience in Java (8 or above) and object-oriented design and development Strong knowledge of Service Oriented Architecture/RESTful services Expert-level experience in relational database design and development (SQL, Sybase) Expert-level experience in Python and object-oriented design and development Strong knowledge of UNIX/Linux environments Any experience working with Snowflake databases and Snowflake data sharing will be a plus. Any experience working with Python AI/ML libraries will be a plus. Any experience working with unstructured data management tools.
