Role               :  GMP Pharma Project Manager 

Location       : Marietta,PA(Onsite)

Duration       : 6 months

The Project Manager is responsible for supporting the Marietta Project Team and Strategy and Program Manager on the project management activities to build and startup a manufacturing units. The Project Manager will support the Strategy and Program Manager to ensure that the strategic goals are achieved and prioritized. The Project Manager works closely with the Strategy and Program Manager and other workstream leads, global functions, quality assurance and regulatory affairs to ensure that manufacturing unit goals will be delivered on time and deliver reliable performance at high rates of productivity and utilization.

The Project Manager is responsible for development and management of the project plan that results in integrated delivery of a cross functional project at or above the established quality, timeline and budget expectations in partnership with the Program and Strategy Manager and the appropriate work stream leads. This includes planning, execution, and follow up of actions.

The Project Manager will help to continuously structure and monitor the program and to drive activities to on time completion. The Project Manager will ensure appropriate initiation, planning and tracking of timelines, budget, resources, risks and scope, recommending alternative strategies to keep the project within thresholds or ensuring escalation to the Program and Strategy Manager, project teams and established governing bodies if necessary.

The Project Manager will also support the governance of Risk Register for the project as well as the preparation and organization of steering committees or other relevant meetings.

The Project Manager is expected to follow and apply CLIENT project management methodologies, tools and practices which are based on PMBOK.

Primary Tasks & Responsibilities

             Develop project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility

             Develop detailed and solid project plans to track progress (incl. sequenced tasks, action owners, dependences, duration) and identify critical paths

             Schedule project team meetings including project governances, setting their agenda, preparation/ consolidation and circulation of pre-read (as needed) and monthly dahsboards, meetings facilitation, capturing actions and decision, following-up on actions and decisions in collaboration with the relevant owners, preparation of meeting minutes

             Ensure resource availability and allocation

             Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects

             Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget

             Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs

             Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques

             Communicate any delays and their business impact

             Communicate complex issues independently across CLIENT and with the third parties as necessary to secure timely completion of the project

             Perform risk management to minimize project risks including identification and assessment of risks, escalation and support identification of risk owners and action plans to remediate or mitiage risks

             Report and escalate to management as needed

             Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation

             Establish effective working relationship with the key functions to ensure timely completion of the tasks and quick escalation of any delays in order to assess their impact.

             Manage the relationship with all stakeholders

             Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors

             Follow and apply CLIENT project management methodologies, tools and practices which are based on PMBOK

Experience, Knowledge & Soft Skill Requirements

                Experience:

       Proven minimum of 5 years Project Management experience in a large organization with capability of working independently on multiple project streams, and ability to prioritize tasks and meet strict deadlines

             Experience in GMP manufacturing and/or QC/ analytical activities in pharmaceutical industry preferably with previous experience within CLIENT

             Preferably experience working with different functions across departments and Regional and Global teams

             Consultant is expected to follow and apply CLIENT Vx project management methodologies, tools and practices which are based on PMBOK

Knowledge:

             Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Project Online

       Strong competency in project management software and methods including visualization tools e.g. for dashboards and roadmaps

       Risks identification, analysis and management including methods and tools

       Excellent organization, planning and coordination skills and ability to operate effectively in a multicultural, matrix organization where the workload requires balancing multiple responsibilities simultaneously

             Problem solving skills and analytical, logical thought process with strong information organisation skills

       Proficient in English language

Soft Skills:

             Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to engage with, work with and influence others, at all levels of the organisation, incl. senior leaders;

       Establish and maintain cross functional relationships. Develop relationships across organizational boundaries

       Open and transparent communicator with strong written and oral communications skills

             Effective time management, ability to clearly identify priorities and manage multiple tasks.

       Dependable self-starter

       Resilience and ability to collaborate in a team environment even under high pressure situations

Education, Methodology & Certification Requirements 

       University degree with experience in project management; preferably with a scientific orientation (Engineering, Science); Master degree preferred

       Prince II, PMP, or other PM certification

       Preferably GMP knowledge
