Role: Mainframe Developer/Programmer

6+ Month

Hybrid (Durham, North Carolina)

Visa: NO CPT,OPT,H1B.

This role will perform senior-level business and systems analysis, modeling and design, programming using COBOL, CICS, DB2. Duties also include participation in estimating efforts (Hands on experience);
Experience with QMF, SPUFI and FILEAIDCA-tools;
Debugging COBOL/DB2 application code using tools like XPEDITOR/CA-interest;
Experience with X/PTR(reporting tool);
Zeke or similar job scheduler tools.
Structured system development methodologies such as agile (preferred), waterfall;
consultation and planning for specific modifications and enhancements to production applications/information systems;
monitoring technical effort activities for adherence to schedules, milestones, and deliverables;
providing status and time reporting; monitoring efforts for quality assurance and adherence to state, departmental and divisional standards and procedures.
This position requires being on-call for nightly (week and weekend) batch process.
