Senior .NET Software Engineer Position type: Initial 6 months contract term with an option to hire Location: Seeking LOCAL CANDIDATES TO RICHMOND, VA **Position requires hybrid/2 days onsite in Richmond, VA** Responsibilities: This role would be part of a team of Senior Software Engineers working on a multi-year modernization project to re-code an enterprise production system in cutting edge technologies (Angular, .NET Core, kubernetes, containerization, etc). This role will be responsible for contributing to the design, development and implementation. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a closely related field of study. Strong /proven experience in front-end development with strong experience in .NET, ASP.NET, C#, JavaScript, Angular/Typescript, C#, Web Services, JQuery, HTML/CSS. Experience with Azure, Kubernetes, Docker, Micro Services, API Services, Rabbit MQ, and MSMQ. Experience with Database and Reporting to include SQL, SSIS, SSRS, and PowerBI. Strong experience in analysis and debugging is required. Experience in developing large, complex, interconnected systems on various software platforms. Strong communications skills and the ability to mentor/lead junior Developers.
