Schedule: 8AM-5PM, Monday-Friday (Flexible for off-hours based on project needs) Overview: Currently seeking a Network Engineer with an active HPE Certification for a temporary position in Maumee, OH. While remote work is possible, occasional presence at the Maumee office or client site is required. Candidates local to Maumee are preferred, although those within a reasonable commuting distance will also be considered. The Network Engineer will be responsible for delivering high-quality IT professional services, including consulting, troubleshooting, and support for various network technologies. Responsibilities: Ensure customer satisfaction through the delivery of top-quality professional services. Optimize productivity during project assignments. Engage in pre-sale design and consulting activities. Implement proper contingency planning for service performance control. Provide problem-solving support and escalate issues as necessary. Conduct testing and ensure quality control. Foster positive customer relations. Maintain control of equipment while on-site. Adhere to punctual arrival standards for customer appointments. Provide status reports to supervisors as required. Competencies: Effective communication with customers and team members. Clear written communication for ticket/task updates. Organization and control over project-related information. Act as a team lead, offering guidance to colleagues. Dedication to exceptional customer service. Broad-based knowledge of hardware, operating systems, and networking products. Proficiency in core technical requirements. Qualifications: 5-7 years of experience as a Network Engineer. Active HPE certification required. Proficiency in HP technologies such as HPE ProLiant, HPE BladeSystem, HPE Apollo, HPE SimpliVity, and Synergy composable infrastructure solutions. Design and deployment experience with LANs, WANs, and wireless networks. Familiarity with network capacity planning and security principles. Experience with firewalls, VPNs, and network hardware. Strong troubleshooting skills. Cybersecurity assessment and mitigation experience. Preferred Certifications: Cisco CCNA required. Cisco CCNP preferred. Fortinet NSE 4 preferred. Om Verma Tech.
