During the sprint planning at the beginning of every sprint, we decide what tasks we would like to take on in the next 2 weeks. The candidate will be part of our scrum team. We will assign work items to him. He will attend the teams standup meeting in the morning to report the status of his work items. Then, he will work on his assignments in the rest of the day. Our oncall person will monitor incidents and user questions. If the oncall person needs some Splunk help, he/she will engage the candidate to get help. Responsibilities * Maintaining the availability SLA of the Splunk instance * Creating, modifying and deploying Splunk apps to facilitate the security log processing * Monitoring the resource usage and the capacity of the Splunk instance closely can collaborate with the MonC team to scale up/down the cluster when necessary * Provide technical support and answer questions from Splunk users * Work with customers and support to resolve bugs and support issues. Commitment and emphasis on operational excellence. * Create Splunk dashboards and reports * Optimize Splunk queries * Handle incidents outside of office hours.
