As a Senior Cognos BI Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Business Intelligence solutions using IBM Cognos. Responsibilities: Develop, design, and maintain BI solutions using IBM Cognos suite. Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Design and develop data models, reports, dashboards, and cubes to meet business needs. Optimize and tune performance of existing reports and queries. Develop and maintain documentation related to BI solutions, including technical specifications, design documents, and user guides. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior members of the team. Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in Business Intelligence and incorporate best practices into the development process. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation and integration of BI solutions. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience working as a BI Developer, with at least 3 years of hands-on experience with IBM Cognos. Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL processes, and data modeling techniques. Proficiency in developing complex reports, dashboards, and cubes using IBM Cognos Analytics. Experience with SQL and relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, or DB2. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams. Proven track record of delivering high-quality BI solutions within tight deadlines. Experience with other BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or MicroStrategy is a plus. Relevant certifications in IBM Cognos or Business Intelligence are desirable.
