Must have the most current SAP S/4 experience with Greenfield and Clean Core Concepts. S/4 has been around since 2014 so some people have LOTS of experience in S/4, but if it's not current, it's irrelevant. The client needs somebody on SAP Technical side, ability to code in ABAP - (They may be asked to write programs in BTP space for POCs), integrations and integrating cloud (any) with SAP Rise. Not an Architect on the infrastructure/Basis side. Must know the integration side of SAP. Doesn't really matter if it's AWS, Google, or Azure. The "syntax" will be different, but the concepts are the same. Experience with RISE with SAP GREAT communication skills. This person will be tasked with presenting to upper management. Here is the job description: SAP knowledge and experience in the following areas: S/4HANA on-prem, S/4HANA Cloud on Rise Experience with BTP services Functional SAP Finance, Procurement/S2P, Sales/Distribution experience or knowledge a plus Legacy SAP objects and communication methods (IDoc, BAPI, RFC) Experience with legacy SAP Basis, SAP Security, and ABAP development processes/responsibilities would be a plus. Experience with other ERP systems like Oracle and Lawson would be a plus. Experience in a complex, multi-tier application environment MDM / Data & Analytics / Reporting Financial, Treasury, Banking, and Cash applications Various Integration Platforms or middleware applications Purchasing/Buying/Ordering applications Business process strengths Finance: AP, AR, JE Purchasing Understanding of detailed architecture patterns and implementation of complex integration solution designs B2B/B2X A2A/A2X Pub/Sub event-based architecture Knowledge and experience with various communication protocols API (SOAP, OData, REST) as well as API authorization and authentication methods File-based (Linux/Unix, Windows) FTP, SFTP AS2 HTTPS Familiarity with JSON, XML, Web Services AWS architecture and AWS integration service knowledge, if possible Knowledge of exception handling processes, retry mechanisms, quality of service concepts.
