Local only Pay Rate: $70/- Hr. on C2C ROLE DESCRIPTION As a senior project manager, you will take full ownership of our Workday migration project, managing it from inception to completion. This project will migrate a single business unit from its separate Workday tenant to the client Workday tenant. You will partner with senior executives in Human Resources and Technology to lead a talented and geographically dispersed team. You will structure, lead, coordinate, and report on the work, ensuring that all project milestones are met in a timely and effective manner, and that risks are identified and addressed throughout the project. ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES Lead the planning, execution, and closure of the Workday migration project, ensuring all deliverables are met within the stipulated timeline and budget. Oversee and motivate a large and geographically dispersed project team, fostering a collaborative and inclusive environment to drive project success. Collaborate with key stakeholders across the division to gather and analyze business requirements, providing expert recommendations on Workday configurations and best practices. Apply project management best practices to plan, track, and report on work and to bring execution discipline to all workstreams. Ensure compliance with global and local regulations, data privacy, and security policies throughout the migration process. Provide regular updates to senior management and stakeholders, highlighting project progress, potential risks, and mitigation strategies. Develop and deliver training programs to ensure end-users are proficient and comfortable with the new Workday instance. Must be available to work during U.S. late afternoons and early evenings to accommodate calls with Australia business unit EXPERIENCE/SKILLS Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT, Business, Human Resources or a related field; MBA a plus. 10+ years IT project management experience; PMP certification highly desirable Proven track record leading multiple start-to-finish Workday implementations or migrations is required. Implementation experience as employee of Workday or with a Workday service partner is highly desirable Strong knowledge of Workday HCM required. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels. Experience in change management and developing employee training Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with strong problem-solving and analytical skills. High level of self-motivation and initiative, with a commitment to delivering excellence Demonstrated track record of contributing both strategically and tactically at a consistently high level 1. PMP Certified Project Manager Must 2. Agile / Any Scrum or agile certifications. 3. Should be a solid project manager someone who should have manager big project like global projects. 4. Some knowledge or exp on Workday tenant migrations. 5. Again.. no program managers please.. solid PMP Project managers . This is a Workday to Workday Tenant migration. Need a Seasoned Project Manager with Workday experience. Focus would be more on the project management skills rather than Workday technical skills. This is only Workday HCM migration, no payroll or financials. PM Should be able to work in Waterfall and Agile environments. Should be comfortable working with Australia business unit.
