Job Description - Job Title: Tableau Technical Architect LOCATION: REMOTE 100% Duration: 4 Month Contract w/Possible extension Former BCBS contractors are preferred but this can be substituted for other healthcare insurance client experience. Job Description: Tableau Technical Architect will help Architect, Design, Develop and fine tune the Business Intelligence (BI) applications using Tableau technologies/toolsets. Ideal candidate will require hands-on experience with Tableau Product Suite, knowledge of Tableau Architecture, solution design and well versed with CICD deployments. Job Responsibilities: Develop Tableau solution/architecture design, help with Development, and server deployment of the Tableau Products. Design overall Tableau solution utilizing data processing and reporting tools appropriately, and most efficiently, based on provided business problem. Create, maintain, and enforce data delivery standards to ensure consistent information delivery methods across projects. Create project/delivery documentation such as deployment guides, release notes, product unit test recommendation documents etc. Provides walkthrough of the release documentation to the deployment teams Collaborating across multiple teams and functions, understanding business needs to present data in a clear way telling the stories as they relate to data from multiple sources. Should be able to convert the business requirements into technical requirement with minimal inputs. Capability to tune up the performance of the existing Tableau dashboards. Responsible for defining the development guidelines, processes for code reviews, processes for code deployments, monitoring, and authorization. Responsible for monitoring and maintaining a scalable Tableau platform in all the environment. Ability to Data Model and transform data to provide efficient and fast access to data in Tableau Dashboards. Provide the toolkits to facilitate the creation of dashboards. Rapidly iterate, prototype, and implement data visualizations using advanced design and development skills. Ability to create advanced Tableau dashboards based on the emerging healthcare/insurance market trend. Job Requirements: Bachelors degree in related field and a minimum of 7 year of experience Knowledge of multiple software delivery life cycles such as Waterfall & Agile methodologies 7+ years of experience with Tableau 2019.1 or higher Ability to single handedly architect, design, develop and implement end to end Tableau solutions for complex business problems. Should have the experience on Tableau Prep Builder tool. Understanding of BI development standards is required. Experience building Worksheets, Story and Dashboards is must. Good understanding of SQL tools such as DB2, and other ODBC-based query tools. Excellent written/verbal communication skills. Preferred Requirements: Experience on Other BI Tools like Power BI, Cognos, BO, OBIEE. Tableau administration and Tableau Bridge experience is a plus.
