The candidate interviewing must be the same individual who will be assigned to work with our client. Requirements: Availability to travel to the Clients site in Juno Beach, FL (required); Relevant experience (5+ years) Engineering and project management experience on utility scale solar projects (preferred), or DG/commercial solar projects, or other technologies in the power industry: wind, BESS, combined cycle, nuclear, hydrogen, substation, transmission, etc.; Experience outside of the power industry (aerospace, civil/stormwater, etc); Experience applying value engineering to balance reliability, cost, and performance for complex systems, along with thorough knowledge of the various applicable engineering disciplines including electrical, structural, civil, and materials; Experience successfully managing schedules and budgets for major capital projects; Valid drivers license; BS degree in Electrical, Civil, Mechanical, Aerospace or Chemical Engineering. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Manage 3rd party contractor teams to develop engineering designs for solar projects. Project engineering responsibilities span from initial concept definition to construction and final commissioning and require continuous coordination with diverse project stakeholders such as environmental, procurement, transmission services, and project managers for both early stage and construction. have outstanding verbal and written communications skills, along with a record of coordinating project stakeholders and mobilizing teams of engineers to achieve business objectives. A preferred candidate will have experience successfully managing schedules and budgets for major capital projects.
