Responsibilities: 80% Technical Support Engineer: Troubleshooting, diagnosing and resolving Cisco wireless and Cisco ISE issues. 20 Implementation Engineer: Deploying new Cisco Wireless and Cisco ISE system configurations as upgrades and rollouts are required. The engineer will be responsible for the day-to-day operational stability of the wireless infrastructure as well as MACDs and end-user support. The correct candidate will research and provide recommendations regarding best practices and proactive measures to keep the systems operating at peak capabilities. Work under the guidance of Sr. Engineers to implement new solutions and technologies Assist with staging and prep of hardware for current projects outside of the wireless discipline. Work as a member of a team and be able to function solo as required. Required Technical and Work Experience: 3+ years hands on experience implementing and troubleshooting Ciscos Wireless infrastructure including WLCs, MSE, Prime Infrastructure, ISE. Thorough understanding of network fundamentals of wired and wireless LAN protocols General understanding of routing and switching protocols Experience working with both AireOS and IOS-EX WLCs is essential Knowledge of Cisco ISE and 802.1X security protocols (EAP-TLS, EAP, PEAP) Experience working with vendors on system installations as well as software and hardware upgrades Ability to adapt work habits to a specified methodology Strong troubleshooting/problem solving skill Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with MDF/IDF closets for data wiring (cabling, racks, power, cooling) is preferred Knowledge of IP routing, VLANs, DHCP and QoS Any Virtualization Product such as Hyper-V, VMware (preferred) or similar product a definite plus CCNA or CCNP preferred Work Environment Dress code for when on site Khakis and golf shirt or greater (slacks and dress shirt) ONSITE 2 to 3 days a week Best regards, Keywords: Texas http://bit.ly/4ey8w48 https://jobs.nvoids.com/job_details.jsp?id=1200193&uid= |
