Responsibilities: Contribute to and support our digital transformation Contribute to our digital transformation by participating in the design, development, configuration, and deployment of digital solutions Participate in, and / or lead high impact projects that provide financial benefits and result in improvements to safety, quality, and / or production yield Work closely with the operations teams to understand requirements and identify improvement opportunities; translate into project specifications, including work estimates and forecasted benefits Design and maintain highly available and error resistant applications and systems that support Edgar Thomson Operations Play a key role in the new design and maintenance of modern supervisory systems Specific Experience Required: Software Engineer / Developer with minimum of 1-2 years of experience developing in Java, C, C#, R, and/or Python. Knowledge of the Visual Studio IDE. Comfortable with both Linux/Unix and Windows environments.
