Job Description Please mention visa and location Job Title: DB2 Database Admin Specialist, 20238-1, 20238-2 Need local to Mclean, VA (22102) or Plano, TX (75023) On-site Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday Interview: one and done MS Teams Video # of openings : 2 Manager Must Haves Complete DB2 knowledge - Senior level admin scripting background required. Ansible and Python skills (preferred) Skillset Table DB2 6+ Years Unix Scripting No vetting questions Day to day Mostly will be supporting a migration project that they are currently working on Working on migrating over the DB2 platform from lower to higher version UDP DB2 platform - not mainframe - in linux environment General DBA duties- Refine and automate regular processes, track issues, and document changes Provide deployment support for database objects in production and test environment Standard database monitoring Performance tuning- query optimization and server tuning Most of the production work won't happen during the day- Once per month or so they might have to work after hours or weekend Not a regular on-call but sometimes they will get tickets that will require scheduled work on a particular day Some escalation around once per month Would work around these hours no overtime in this role even if there is a need for off-hours work Required Skills: Wants strong DB2 Admin background - 5-6+ years is fine if they are strong senior resources Complete DB2 knowledge- senior level admin scripting knowledge and experience The interview will be fully focused on the DB2 knowledge Plusses: Ansible Python Regards, Satyam Gond Keywords: microsoft Texas Virginia http://bit.ly/4ey8w48 https://jobs.nvoids.com/job_details.jsp?id=1195146&uid= |
