Role: Tableau Admin Location: Raritan NJ Exp : 12+ Years General Server administration knowledge on Linux, AWS & Windows. Tableau Server Architecture Tableau Installation and Configuration Tableau on AWS infrastructure Tableau Backup and Restore SAML Trusted Authentication RESTAPI Tableau Desktop Data Security Content Security Auditing Knowledge of Postgres system tables Tableau High Availability Architecture Disaster Recovery Networking setup like Load Balancers, SSL security, Reverse proxy setup R analytics with Tableau should know how this feature works Scripting knowledge (Python/Rbuy/batch) Automate using the Java, Python, Scripting, Autosys, Ansible, Puppet/Chef any of repeated activities such as User provisioning System install and upgrade System monitoring and alerting Content deployment using CI/CD tools such as Jenkins Hands-on experience with implementing Tableau solutions and AWS deployments. Hands on experience in designing, developing and successful deployment of large-scale projects from end-to-end. Collect business insight needs from clients, product teams, and other commercially facing business units, and translate those needs to requirements. Design, develop and validate enterprise reporting, queries, extracts, visualizations, graphs and data mapping for delivery to clients or internal stakeholders. Install, configure, and maintain a multi- tier Tableau infrastructure environment to ensure reliable performance and scalability Proven experience in developing embedded Tableau driven dashboards, visualizations, and analytics. Working knowledge of Tableau administrator/architecture. Advanced Tableau development skills required. A solid understanding of SQL, relational database management system, data modeling, and normalization. Solid understanding of datamarts and data warehouses as it relates to processing of data by Tableau. Ability to interpret technical or dashboard structure and translate complex business requirements to technical specifications. Strong statistical/Data Analysis skills including Regression and correlation analysis. Strong analytical, critical thinking, problem solving and collaborative skills. High-level competency in Excel (macros, pivot tables, etc.). Understanding of advanced calculations and statistical functions. Ability to query and display large data sets while maximizing the performance of workbook. Manage cloud resources for cost and performance efficiency. Design, develop and validate enterprise reporting, queries, extracts, visualizations, graphs and data mapping for delivery to clients or internal stakeholders.
