Strong proficiency in using HashiCorp Packer for building machine images across multiple platforms. Proficient in scripting languages (e.g., , Python, Power) to automate tasks and streamline image creation processes. Implement post-processing steps, including checksum verification, to ensure the integrity and security of created golden images. Familiarity with Ansible for configuration management in the image creation pipeline. Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Experience with IaC tools like Terraform to define and manage infrastructure components. Understanding of DevOps principles and practices, including continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD). Work closely with cross-functional teams, including system administrator, developers, QA, Security and engineering team to understand image requirements and optimize the image creation process. Identify and resolve issues related to image creation, ensuring the delivery of high-quality and secure golden images.
