UPS is looking for a Senior SQL Server Developer - Local to Mahwah, NJ HYBRID 2-3 days a week on site in Mahwah, NJ KEY FOCUS: Need an expert SQL Server Developer with SSIS packages that has some Java experience. (7+ years experience) Requires experience working with very large data in a SQL Server database implementing performance tuning of stored procedures for lightning response. Must have prior experience in performance tuning for large data sets that give a 2 second response time. Job Description: Senior SQL Server Developer. Will work on an enterprise data repository that is accessed by internal applications via API. Requires expert level experience in SQL Server writing stored procedures, SSIS, data loads, and able to performance tune queries against very large datasets with 2 second response time. This developer will also support the Java based API code . The developer will assist in building and supporting an application being deployed worldwide in multiple languages. Developer will be required to work some hours on weekends periodically to load production data and deploy production code. Required Skills: Expertise in designing and building SQL Server database packages and queries optimized for large data sets. Ability to analyze business requirements and translate into technical requirements.
