As a QA Manual Tester, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our software applications, with a focus on Teller-related functionalities. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of banking operations, attention to detail, and the ability to create comprehensive test plans. Responsibilities: Test Planning: Develop and implement detailed test plans for Teller-related functionalities, considering various banking scenarios. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and ensure test coverage. Test Execution: Execute manual testing procedures to identify software defects and ensure the reliability and functionality of our banking applications. Conduct thorough testing of Teller transactions, including cash handling, account management, and customer interactions. Regression Testing: Perform regular regression testing to ensure that new enhancements or modifications do not adversely affect existing Teller functionalities. Defect Tracking: Document and track defects, working closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution. Provide detailed information about identified issues, including steps to reproduce and potential impact. Collaboration: Work closely with the development team, product owners, and business analysts to understand the requirements and provide valuable input during the development process. Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive test documentation, including test cases, test scenarios, and test results. Ensure that testing artifacts are organized and readily available for future reference. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Proven experience as a QA Manual Tester, preferably with a focus on banking applications and Teller functionalities. Strong understanding of Teller operations, including cash handling, check processing, and customer interactions. Familiarity with testing tools and methodologies. Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Attention to detail and a systematic approach to problem-solving. Banking industry certifications (optional but beneficial). Additional Requirements: Experience with automated testing tools is a plus. Knowledge of regulatory compliance in the banking industry. Ability to adapt to a dynamic and fast-paced work environment. Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
