Job Title IT Systems Specialist ( Business & Finance Analyst) Location Montgomery(Onsite) AL Duration 6 months /Contract To Hire JOB DESCRIPTION USC ONlY Job Description: This role demands direct engagement with accounting systems and necessitates a thorough grounding in accounting principles coupled with strong IT skills, especially in SQL for detailed querying and analyses. The successful candidate will be tasked with analysing process flows and business requirements, identifying and addressing access discrepancies, and leading efforts to enhance system functionalities and optimize business processes. Demonstrated ability in diagnosing, evaluating, and remedying system and process complications. Solid experience in liaising with IT and accounting teams to convert business necessities into technical requisites. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Understanding of procedures and controls related to Budgeting, Account Coding (chart of accounts), Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Purchasing, and Vendor Management. Experience with accounting and procurement web applications. Experience with online ticketing/problem tracking systems. Skills Required: A minimum of 3 years in a business systems analyst capacity or similar, with a concentration on accounting or financial systems. Demonstrated ability in diagnosing, evaluating, and remedying system and process complications. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
