If they dont have resource forecasting management, financial management capitalization and amortization, ability to build technical roadmaps and partnerships with technical leaders, she doesnt want to look at them. GENERAL DESCRIPTION: The IT Project Management Office (PMO) Portfolio Manager is accountable for the delivery, monitoring, and execution of projects within the scope of assigned portfolio. This position oversees the management of the portfolio and supervises the project professionals, including Sr. Project Managers, Project Managers, Sr. Analysts, and Analysts, supporting the portfolios to ensure consistency with strategy, commitments, and goals to accelerate the achievement of business value. Portfolio Managers closely align with Portfolio Sponsors to ensure goals and objectives of each project under the respective portfolio are met. Guides, advises, and directs innovative approaches and solutions within and across the enterprise to achieve desired business outcomes. Partners and consults with various business and technical executives and leaders to deliver iterative business value and achieve business strategy and objectives. What youll need: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business or a related field 6+ years of experience in a problem-solving function Demonstrated problem solving experience with cross-functional teams Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft applications Ability to work in San Antonio, or travel to San Antonio as needed Knowledge of financial products and services, especially as it relates to various delivery channels preferred. Knowledge of existing bank products, services, and overall operational guidelines. Strong knowledge of business analytical practices and methodologies and process improvement methodologies, e.g., Lean or Six Sigma a plus. Strong research, analytical, planning, and organizational skills. Customer-focused attitude and ability to work proactively and efficiently.
