Overview of the Project/Details: The Test House Product Manager is responsible for client satisfaction by ensuring test request objectives are met by the teams execution. Contributes to the strategy of delivering the best WiFi experience and industry-leading converged connectivity by owning the test workstream at the WiFi Test House. Drives results by leading cross-organizational efforts to replicate current and future real-world Wi-Fi experiences to define Product roadmaps, identify experience gaps for improvement, feature acceptance testing, interoperability testing with consumer devices, and replication of production issues for root cause identification. Reports to the Wi-Fi Product Operations team and partners with 3rd party vendors as well as internal teams across various organizations to properly scope and prioritize testing requests, decomposition of them into iterative testing plans, plan and execute the necessary steps to prepare for the testing, and ensure all process and reporting steps are taken to facilitate a shared understanding between requestors, the test team, and other stakeholders. Day to Day: Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience. Responsible for defining and owning the WiFi Test House request backlog and roadmap, including ongoing capability improvements. Collaborate between the various requesting teams, subject matter experts, and our 3rd party testing vendor to define and clearly document the scope, objectives, and acceptance criteria of the request. Collaborate with our 3rd party test vendor and technical subject matter experts to create an iterative execution plan to meet all testing objectives. Responsible for following a SCRUM like agile process to clearly document testing objectives and the testing plan using Jira. Responsible for timely intake, refinement, and prioritization of all testing requests to ensure the team has a refined backlog of requests. Accountable for accepting test house deliverables and their meeting of the request objective and pre-agreed upon acceptance criteria. Collaborates with leadership and requestors on prioritizing the request backlog. Responsible for all reporting and communications from the team to ensure the process is well understood, they understand and agree to the execution plan, and the expected deliverables are provided. Accountable for the satisfaction scoring of the requestors and continued improvements in process, technology, and general team dynamics to improve the score. Shared accountability with the team to maintain and increase schedule predictability and overall velocity of the team. Required to follow team-defined agile processes and rituals to ensure we maintain a well-groomed backlog, have interdependent execution plans, and identify and clear blockers effectively. Responsible for team identification of testing dependencies and facilitating the resolution of those blockers to ensure on-time execution and completion of requests. Responsible for managing inventory records of devices, accounts, and other assets to organize Test House and Wi-Fi Product usage needs, including shipment and receipt of equipment from vendors or to and from Charter locations. Responsible for planning for future asset needs and ensuring timely and well planning budgeting of purchases.
