HHSC has issued a request for a Senior Java/J2EE Developer to perform full-stack development on their cloud platform and case management system. We are only seeking Full-Stack Java Developers with hands-on Azure/AWS cloud development experience in the healthcare industry. Candidates must have experience with Azure and Azure Cosmos DB to be considered for this role. Candidates with prior experience developing case management systems in a healthcare environment are highly preferred. 1. Resume : Send an updated resume in word format. 2. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES The contractor role is for a Senior Java Developer and will develop Full-stack Java applications on HHSCs cloud (Azure/AWS) platform within an Agile (Scrum) environment for Gavel application to track and manage Case Management System. The development team follows Agile (Scrum), and this role should have experience with Agile methodologies. A successful candidate will have hands-on experience programming Full-Stack Java applications on the industrys leading open-source platforms and cloud-based technologies. Supports applications in multiple environments with coding testing, peer reviews, documentation, defect root cause analysis, and troubleshooting as required. II. CANDIDATE SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Requirements: Candidates that do not meet or exceed the minimum stated requirements (skills/experience) will be displayed to customers but may not be chosen for this opportunity. Years Required/Preferred Experience 8 Required Experience in Java/J2EE Enterprise Development (Core Java, JDBC, Spring Boot, and Angular, for example). 8 Required Experience with SQL. 8 Required Experience with Web-based user interface development using Web-Tier frameworks (Angular, React for example). 8 Required Experience in Web services development (RESTFul Services, for example). 8 Required Experience designing enterprise applications and/or services. 8 Required Experience creating technical and functional design documentation. 8 Required Experience within software development using Agile methodology (Scrum, for example). 8 Required Experience with multi-tier system/application development (SOA, Microservices, 3-Tier applications, for example). 4 Required Experience with Azure. 4 Required Experience with Cosmos. 3 Required Experience in DevOps technology including CI/CD pipeline and build and deployment tools such as Git.
