This senior Project Manager position is with DFS. Must work on-site. Due date is March 6 . RESUME MUST NOT BE MORE THAN 3 PAGES. State or Federal Govt. experience preferred. American citizens will be given the preference. This is similar to Project Manager but needs leadership experience managing large projects. Generally more than 15+ years of experience. Bachelors or Masters Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or other related field. Or equivalent work experience. Project Management certification. A minimum of 10 years of IT and business/industry work experience, with at least 3 years of leadership experience and 5 years managing projects and/or project portfolios. Ability to communicate effectively (verbally and in writing) with technical and Department staff. Proficient in English language. Experience in directing and mentoring a team of program managers, project managers, portfolio managers and/or other project management staff. Experience in defining and developing enterprise-wide IT project/program management practices, governance standards, processes and metrics. Experience in ensuring projects/programs are defined, tracked and communicated in a consistent and effective manner. Experience in incorporating effective change and risk management controls.
