This role is located in Richardson, TX and will require 3 days a week on site so please only local candidates. Must have strong Databricks experience and worked with Pyspark Citizenship Status: US Citizen or Green Card Currently seeking a Databricks Engineer to join our team and consult at one of our Healthcare clients. Key Areas of Responsibility: Ability to Understand Business requirements and Design/implement solution in Databricks (Microsoft Azure) to support data processing and analytics requirements. Responsible for collaborating with data engineers, data architects, and other stakeholders to understand and address data processing needs. Responsible for Implementing and maintaining data pipelines using Databricks notebooks and Apache Spark. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Azure Databricks and data processing workflows. Responsible for collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Databricks with other components of the data and analytics ecosystem. Responsible for drawing application architecture and walking thru with business team and stake holders. Key Desired Skills, Experience and Knowledge: Bachelors or Masters Degree Computer Science, IT, or related field. Certification in Databricks is preferred. Hands on experience with Azure Data Bricks ins must. In-depth knowledge of Databricks, Apache Spark, and big data technologies. Experience with data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing. Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Scala, or Java. Familiarity with cloud platforms, especially Azure Databricks. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
