Data migration Lead with Broker Dealer Experience : Location: Manhattan, NY Must have at least 3 years of experience as a lead Need a candidate with Broker Dealer experience for a data migration project. Not just Capital markets or Trading Broker Dealers match buyers with Sellers Like a Relator in housing. They do NOT want an engineer but more of a broker-dealer specialist with excellent communication. Will be responsible for Data migrations from FIS to Fiserv (but do not need Fiserv) They must come from: ICAP GFI/Cantor Fidelity Charles Schwab Or similar. .... Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Technical Lead with Banking / Private Client / Broker Dealer implementation experience to join our dynamic team. A successful candidate will be a key contributor to the development of multiple solutions, primarily merging an existing Broker Dealer to Fiserv DNA from Fidelity, FIS while ensuring flexibility, scalability, security, data quality, and regulatory compliance for the financial products and services offered by the Bank. The ideal candidate would have prior financial services experience, understanding of configurations, experience with end-to-end migrations , related to Fiserv DNA core. The candidate would also have excellent domain knowledge of broker dealer products and be able to come up with strategies for automation of onboarding of brokers, clients, accounts. Experience: Proven experience as a Technical Lead in the financial services industry, with a focus on broker dealer implementations and data migrations. Experience with FISERV DNA, FIS, and Fidelity in middleware is highly desirable. Technical Skills: Proficiency in relevant programming languages (Java, C++, Python), databases (Oracle, SQL Server), and integration technologies commonly used in banking core solutions. Experience with Unix scripting languages and file transfer protocols (2FA, SFTP, Active Batch) is important. Domain Knowledge: Excellent domain knowledge of broker dealer products and experience with end-to-end migrations related to Fiserv DNA core. Understanding of configurations and strategies for automation of onboarding of brokers, clients, and accounts is essential. Communication and Collaboration: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner. Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams, vendors, and stakeholders. Documentation: Experience in developing and maintaining comprehensive documentation for technical, system configurations, and integration patterns. Ability to provide training and guidance to technical teams on the implementation and maintenance of broker dealer solutions. Education: Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or equivalent. Preferred Skills: Experience with front-end trading tools (such as WealthScape), certification in relevant technologies or architecture frameworks, and experience with complex M&A transactions, due diligence, valuation, and integration planning would be advantageous. Overall, the ideal candidate for this role should be a highly ambitious and motivated individual with a strong background in technical leadership within the financial services industry, particularly in broker dealer implementations and data migrations.
