Location : South Jersey, NJRole Summary TVC who will be responsible for publishing and managing content associated with technical documentation partner-facing website. Responsibilities include maintaining, improving and troubleshooting tools and services issues related to the publishing platform, in alignment with Google tools and systems standards.Skills/Job DescriptionResponsibilities Develop, maintain and use the underlying publication tools and publication workflow for the external-facing ChromeOS partner technical documentation website and internal supporting information sites. Tasks include: Triage incoming requests for website updates. Review and update content structure based on specifications from docs lead. Triage or migrate data for the website Publish content upon approval for publishing Additional duties may include: Precheck against publishing guidelines for use of specialized language and subject matter, grammar, spelling and layout on material provided by stakeholders for publishing. Website content is focused on hardware and software engineering content provided by subject matter experts including engineers, technical program managers, product managers, account managers, operations, and other stakeholders. Documents include specialized technical information such as, requirements, specifications, notifications, request for proposal announcements, test plans, process and tools guidance, white papers, news and supporting documentation material.Technical skills, experience and knowledge needed: Prior experience working with engineering documentation and tools Experience with website implementation, including experience with Jekyll Significant knowledge and experience with Markdown, YAML, Git, and Bash scripting (needs development skills)Preferred professional skills to perform key tasks: Excellent written and oral communication skills, with emphasis in written English Good problem solving skills individually and collaboratively with team members and cross-functional groups Proactive communication and coordination skills, to clarify and negotiate priorities and requests Keywords: https://jobs.nvoids.com/job_details.jsp?id=1130614&uid= |
