Description:

Our client is looking for a Full Stack .NET Architect to act as a technical lead in the Enterprise section. The Architect will work closely with the project manager, development team, and the application development technical advisor to deliver valuable products that meet our partners business objectives. Work includes developing new web applications, enhancing existing applications, and providing maintenance of modernized web applications. New web application development is largely focused on adding new functionality and eliminating legacy main frame applications by developing new application(s).The incumbent should be able to implement complex application design and get up to speed on business, technical, and functional requirements quickly. The AA is expected to work with minimal supervision, have strong communication and leadership skills, and be a team player. Hands on technical expertise and development is required.Prior experience building and supporting Collection-focused web applications, such as Benefits Recovery Investigation Tracking System, is required. Experience with SQL Server is required.

Tasks

Provide architectural and big picture oversight for development of new or enhanced software products.

Ensure quality and consistency of the software architecture across the system and providing day-to-day technical guidance to the development teams.

Writing code and reviewing the code of others on the team, participate in cross team code reviews.

Promote and follow TDD.

Define and document the system, technical, and application architectures for major areas of development.

The AA will lead the team to web applications that:

Are cost effective and minimize technical debt.

Are sustainable and stable.

Follow security best practices and comply with the client.

Write technical design documents.

Mentor others on the team and in the section.

Understand infrastructure and development architecture designs and issues.

Research and implement best frameworks/capability models that will control costs, provide higher quality, and/or increase predictability of service delivery.

Work with project manager and web application development technical advisor to research and discuss new technology and development tools to remain abreast of current and emerging technology.

Responsible for ensuring quality and consistency of the software architecture across the system and providing day-to-day technical guidance to the development teams.

Define the system, technical, and application architectures for major areas of development, and recommend course of action to maintain cost effectiveness and competitiveness. Stay up-to-date on business initiatives and objectives, particularly as these relate to infrastructure and development architecture issues.

Research and implement best practices frameworks/capability models that will control costs, provide higher quality, and/or increase predictability of service delivery.

Research new technology and development tools to remain abreast of current and emerging technology.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required

Analytical and problem-solving skills. Has provided production support to applications post-production.

Experience writing clear and concise technical documentation and communication.

Excellent clear and concise communication skills, written and verbally.

Skills Required

8 years - Strong technical mastery in JavaScript

8 years - Application development expertise using.NET MVC with C#

8 years - Full stack development

2 years - Solid Test-Driven Development (TDD) experience

8 years - Experience with web application design patterns

8 years - Experience with Kendo framework

8 years - Experience using CSS and HTML, and writing JavaScript based responsive HTML 5 applications.

8 years - Documenting technical requirements and design

8 years - Requirements analysis

8 years - Experience with the full SDLC and knowledge of project management principles

8 years - DB2 and SQL Server database experience

8 years - Experience performing unit and smoke tests

8 years - Experience with Bootstrap

8 years - Experience with Crystal Reports

8 years - Experience with IIS

8 years - Dataflow and structure modeling

8 years - MS SQL Server & SQL Client tools

5 years - Data modeling

5 years - Familiar with TFS and JIRA

5 years - Experience with Telerik Reporting
