Skills Strong GoLang (GRPC, HTTP, Profiling) Developing with Kubernetes as the target (experience developing services deployed to K8S/docker) General Cloud Skills - AWS Preferred Platform Skills - Redis, RabbitMQ (Messaging platforms in general is ok), MongoDB Extra: Kubernetes Platform Development (Custom Operators, CRDs) Extra: Envoy Proxy (Building Filters, General Configuration / Pipeline knowledge) Able to participate in daily (workday) stand-ups and have regular collaboration with/ team members Able to take design/implementation guidance and independently implement whole/portions of modules to a set of standards. This is largely a greenfield project with some fairly complex platform components so there will be quite a bit of foundational elements being established early on in the project the engineers may not always have adjacent code on which to base new work so being able to follow designs, ask questions if there is ambiguity, and apply sets of standards to the project and code as it's developed will be important.
