The data specialists primary responsibilities are to work within a product team and with solution architects and customers to determine business requirements, perform data analysis, develop data ingest and egress processes including automatic pipelines and enrich data to deliver data to quickly solve business problems. They will be accountable to follow the recommended data architecture guidelines and adhere to the department standards and best practices. The data specialist will primarily be working in Snowflake and Matillion. The candidate should be able to work with the customer to obtain and document data requirements, communicate those to the team, write ELT to a Snowflake environment and provision data via APIs. Candidate must have the following skills: 1. 3-5 years experience with Snowflake development creating tables, views, excellent understanding how to connect to multiple databases to navigate the data; write SQL and Python.
