This is a team that specializes in calculating refund amounts for card customers when they have been inadvertently negatively impacted by a mistake or error made by company. It is a heavy data analytics role. Given the team works on issues from a variety of business areas, it requires the team to work with business partners to develop an understanding of the relevant business, the issue, and pertinent data. The team works closely with Business Risk to determine the action plan for each restitution, and the analysts in this role then use that action plan to determine the necessary refunds. SQL and SAS skills are the key technical skills. Candidate will be working in regulatory environment. Person needs to be sophisticated and needs to take the job very seriously. Absolutely needs to be technically and analytical strong. Coordinate and collaborate really well. Written and verbal communication skills. Well-organized work ethic. Understand when to pull back/ask for guidance/but able to dive deeper. Minimum of 3 years- 8 years of relevant experience. Does not have to be finance background, but financial service would be a big bonus. Looking for candidates who are detail oriented and can deep dive into data. Seeking someone who can take direction and willing to dive deeper and go the extra mile. Communication skills with stakeholders. Align on project scope. Be able to communicate well, partner well with other teams, and have strong technical skills. Card mediation analytics- refunds. This role requires very data savvy individuals with a close eye for detail to ensure refunds are calculated correctly. It requires strong SQL, SAS, and communication skills. Responsible for working closely with management to execute analytical initiatives. Responsible for solving business problem by leveraging techniques such as segmentation, optimization, advanced analytics and machine learning. Creates reports and dashboards to closely monitor performance metrics and provide insights. Leads the development and implementation of advanced analytics including customer segmentation, optimization, prescriptive analytics and machine learning algorithm & recommendation to solve business problems. Operates as a subject matter expert on statistical analysis, test and design of experiment, analysis methodology, modeling & application, and financial impact analysis. Collaborates with cross-functional partners to understand their business needs, formulate and complete end-to-end analysis that includes data gathering, analysis, ongoing scaled deliverables and presentations. Delivers effective presentations of findings and recommendations to multiple levels of leadership, creating visual displays of quantitative information. Establishes and maintains effective performance tracking; identify improvement opportunity, form hypothesis, proposes, designs and implements tests to drive strategy enhancement and optimization. Manages multiple priorities , communicate business performance and project progress to management & business partners. Develops and automates reports, iteratively build and prototype dashboards to provide insights at scale, solving for analytical needs. Facilitates implementation of work product and ensure accuracy. Consistently follows standard work processes and documentation requirements. Recommends improvement to work processes to increase efficiency while maintaining quality of work. Continuously improves technical and leadership skills through training and development.
