This position requires expert SAP knowledge with technical software development, and integration expertise using SAP technologies. The ideal candidate will also have deep functional knowledge of SAP S/4 HANA, GRC, Solution Manager and AWS Hosting. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, the Technical Lead will lead initiatives to implement best practices, maintain system integrity, and drive continuous improvement. Expertise in SAP infrastructure, system monitoring, and problem resolution will be crucial in ensuring our organization's SAP systems operate seamlessly, supporting our business objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong command of SAP infrastructure architecture, a passion for problem solving, strong relationships skills, application development experience and the ability to successfully collaborate cross functionally. Close collaboration and proactive engagement with the broader IT team and business stakeholders is a critical aspect of this role. Key Responsibilities: Analyzes customer business requirements and translates those requirements into technical design specifications Provides software development services for customers during SAP and SuccessFactors Implementation and Integration projects. Develops and executes test plans and documents solution Provides remote and on-site technical support for client software implementations. Provides technical support, including reviewing system configurations, installing software components, providing expert level troubleshooting and problem resolution. Provides functional and technical training to end users as required. Works closely with customers to answer their questions about the software as it pertains to their respective area of expertise, and provides technical direction to customers' information technology staff as required. Technical Project Management Develop, coordinate and manage detailed cutover lists from inception to post go-live. Drive regular cutover meetings with project teams and client teams. Working in collaboration with customers: Undertakes project scoping, requirements gathering, and project planning activities. As required, manages projects or leads junior developers ensuring project methods, approaches, and controls are adhered to. Assesses ongoing project issues and risks and works with customers and management to manage those risks. Tracks action items, risks, and issues to timely closure. Provides regular status reporting. Ability to communicate with IT and Business stakeholders in layman terms Deep technical knowledge and understanding of SAP ERP, reporting, integration, and supporting systems Lead global end-to-end ERP device management, changes and upgrades of devices and device applications, following our SLDC process and collaboration with our IT CSV, IT Quality, business, and IT management teams. Experience with SAP S/4 HANA, NetWeaver, CHARM, BW, BOBJ, PI/PO, MII, FIORI, BPC, SOLMAN, GTS and GRC. Strong technical skills in SAP installations, troubleshooting, upgrades, system copies, client copies, SAP performance tuning, applying patches, backups and restores. Strong technical knowledge of SAP Security and concepts. Manage and update GXP and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliant documentation in support of any configuration changes and testing requirements. Collaboration with ERP and IT teams for interface development and ERP adjacent programs. Ability to manage third-party vendors and contracts. Ability to properly document data flows & system architectures. Manage SAP Device integration and life cycle management of devices Collaborate and stay aligned with Global IT Teams on CSV, Infrastructure, and IT Security Support Quality issues through the use of Trackwise and our Quality Management system Role Expectations: Full lifecycle SAP implementation experience including an in-depth understanding of SAP Integration Lead technical deployment of SAP S/$ Hana on AWS Collaborate with other IT teams and business units to ensure SAP systems align with organizational goals. Collaborate with Infrastructure teams to establish and document disaster recovery procedures. Work with 3rd party implementation partner on SAP deployment and system integration Education and Experience: Bachelors Degree in related discipline and 3-5 years related experience in the SAP environment Demonstrated ability to work with business and IT partners. A minimum of five years of hands-on software development experience in the SAP S/4 Hana and associated SAP technologies Willingness to do hands-on technical work as well as lead technical projects Previous experience leading technical projects A minimum of three years hands-on software development and technical consulting experience, with at least two full development project lifecycles. Experience must include demonstrated technical proficiency with Java in addition to at least three of the following technologies, Abap, WebDynpro, SQL, PI, Java, JavaScript, XML/ XSL, HTML, C, Objective-C, BW, BOBJ, Hana, SOAP and/or OData Web Services. Experience and certifications with IaaS Providers (AWS, MS Azure, or GCP) are an advantage. Exposure to ERP interfaces, ERP batch jobs, and overall ERP connectivity Device Management (ie. Scanners & Printers), device administration, and end-user support. Technical Skills: Primary ERP system knowledge, SAP ECC, S/4 HANA, NetWeaver, CHARM, BW, BOBJ, PI/PO, MII, FIORI, BPC, SOLMAN, GTS GRC, Release Development, Problem Management, IT Validation, Technical requirements gathering, Project Management, and Change Management. Secondary Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Access, and Visio Others Broad knowledgeable of SOX, FDA cGMP/GLP, GDPR, and related regulations. Non-Technical Skills: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Prepares activity and progress reports regarding activities of the applications systems and programming sections Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
