JOB DESCRIPTION

USC/GC

Onsite Role 

Business System Administrator - HRIS Applications

2100 Wescott Drive, Flemington, NJ

Onsite once every other week in Flemington

Need UKG (HRIS)

Infor is preferred

Team size, 4 people, this will be the ONLY person supporting UKG though

Position Summary:

The Business Systems Administrator is responsible for the management, system planning,

implementation, enhancements, and ongoing support of the human capital management and

Human Resources systems including UKG Kronos Workforce Central and Advanced Scheduler

as well as the migration to UKG Pro (human capital management) and Infor Enterprise

Resource Planning (ERP) systems throughout the health system. Serves as liaison between

the Information Services Department and assigned departments in the Healthcare System.

Primary Position Responsibilities:

Configuration, implementation, and maintenance of UKG Pro (human capital

management) and assigned business information systems including, but not limited to,

software and server updates, patches, and enhancements in coordination with IT staff

and the vendor(s) as necessary

Provides level 2 support of UKG Pro and assigned business systems to ensure business

and operational needs throughout the organization

Participates as a project leader in project planning and development, focusing on

initiatives supporting departments throughout the health system.

Develops outcomes-oriented work plans and manages project activities and deliverables

and provides technical assistance and consultation to departments regarding project

activities.

Develops online help documentation, user manuals, and guides, and system

documentation for the Information Services Department and business units

Shares off-hour on-call responsibility to maintain UKG Pro and assigned business

systems

Other duties as assigned

Minimum Education Requirements

Required: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science or Business

related field or equivalent experience preferred.

Minimum Years of Experience

Required: 2-4 years of experience in healthcare information system and technology or related

business practice

Preferred: 5-7 years in healthcare information systems and technology with a minimum of 3

years within a hospital setting. Experience with UKG Pro/Dimensions and Infor ERP (financials,

supply chain management)

License, Registry or Certification

Required: None

Preferred: Certified Professional in Healthcare Information and Management Systems

(CPHIMS), Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Business Analysis Professional

(CBAP).

Knowledge, Skills and/or Abilities

Required:

General knowledge of business healthcare information system applications, servers,

personal computers, and networks.

Experience with UKG Pro / Dimensions.

Ability to collaborate, facilitate teams, and foster consensus on process issues; desire to

work with people; exceptional verbal and written communication skills; interpersonal

relationship skills.

Preferred:

Experience with Infor ERP (financials, supply chain management)

Experience with system implementations, migrations, and application support

Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks

in a high-pressure environment.

General knowledge of project management and change management principles.

Experience in policy/procedure development and staff training; ability to learn,

understand, and apply new technologies.

Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative

environment.
