Position: On the API management team Responsible for process controls and tools that support API Development, Security, for publishing with API, consumption and monitoring of the API, overall governance of API All of this will be specifically in the Apigee platform Skills: Experience Writing API proxies on platform like Apigee Edge or similar ones like AWS API Gateway or Azure API gateway Hands on experience with API tools like Swagger hub, postman, linting tools like spectral Knowledge of security standards like OAuth 2.0 and TLS Scripting language: Java script or Python or similar Experience with Matrix or Visualization tools: Kibana, Grafana or equivalent Desired skills: Familiarity with sprit involvement (doing kanban, they follow both Agile methods) Experience with any leading public cloud platform (they use AWS, even Azure DevOps is what they use for production support work) Requires a lot of collaboration with Apps and backend teams so good time management skills Excellent verbal and written communication with cross function and teams Good collaborator and team player Typical day: They work in 3 major areas. Review swagger OAuth 2.0 standards that is operational time bound activities, Based on those swaggers they develop proxies on Apigee (Time bound operations) They do a lot of automation for their teams ease to improve teams efficiency so looking for people with better scripting skills like python or Java as they a lot of automation. This role requires a lot of weekly on call support required, via ServiceNow. They will be on rotational on call support.
