Job Title Web Developer Location Lexington SC Duration 6 months /Contract To Hire JOB DESCRIPTION USC/GC Onsite role Why do you have the need(s): Michelin needs a Web developer to create easy-to-use dashboards, interactive reports, and compelling data visualizations that enable users to consume and analyze a broad range of data. This role also manages the servers the data and services are executed on for numerous Computer and Cyber Security Health initiatives. Day to day job responsibilities: The successful candidate will work daily to: - Create dashboards and interactive visual reports using a Full Suite of software including but not limited to .net, C#, ColdFusion, and Angular. - Create relationships between data and develop tabular and other multidimensional data models us MS SQL. - Design, develop, test, and deploy Webpages in support of Daily Production Activities. - Execute a modified Agile approach with the customer and IT Development Team. - Interact with Customers requesting webpages and reports to clearly define problem, potential solutions, and validate. - Manage Windows Operating Systems and Servers for assigned systems. - Troubleshoot, modify, and refresh Legacy Applications. - Continuously work to grow expertise on new and existing tools such of Power BI, Power Automate, OSI PI and others. - Continuously learn current work methods for Cybersecurity to assist with Cyber defense and compliance. Technical Environment: Windows Operating System (OS) based servers Who is the internal/external customer: Internal customers. Size of group: 7 counting manager 3 Must haves for the position: 1. Ideally 5+ years of experience development experience using Full Stack. Having ColdFusion experience or Angular experience are not mandatory if person is willing to learn and has a background developing applications on both the front and backend. Priority would be C#, .net, and SQL. 2. Experience with data extraction and queries with comprehensive knowledge of data design, data modeling, data management, and data visualization. 3. Expertise in the use of tools like Power BI Desktop connecting to MS SQL and Oracle Databases, along with expert level use of Office Excel, PowerPoint, and visualization tools. Pluses for the position: Why Prior Professional Services or Consulting experience Will aid in understanding requirements and translating them into expected results Preferred Bachelors degree in Math, Statistics, Business Analytics, Data Science or Computer Science Concepts learned are readily useful in daily activity Experience in tire distribution Its unique for each of our product lines.
