Java Architect Location : New York, NYC (On-Site) Duration : 6+ months Visa : USC/GC only FACE TO FACE INTERVIEW Job Description: Ability to work closely with application developers ensuring the goals of the business are achieved. Provide triage support such as troubleshooting and application performance issues - Participate in vendor solution evaluation processes and make recommendations Demonstrated ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously Provide Architecture Assessments on technical solutions and a recommended approach to the teams Collaboration with global team on architecture solutions Skills Required: Position Qualifications Qualified applicants should have a good application architecture, design and development background, with exposure and understanding of mainframe, cloud hosting concepts and associated implementations. Must have skills: Experience across the full application and system development lifecycle - Understanding of application architecture, design and development - Understanding of enterprise frameworks and technologies, and supporting architecture and design patterns Awareness of enterprise architecture tools and processes (like Build intent, Tech 07, EAA, HIR, etc.) or something similar. Understanding and experience with one of these technologies Mainframe, J2EE, Databases, Webservices (SOAP and/or REST) Ability to work collaboratively with Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, working in a fast paced and dynamic environment Excellent written/oral communication and interpersonal skills - Attention to details and passion/pride in producing Quality deliverables 10 + years of experience across the full application and system development lifecycle 10+ years of experience in application architecture, design and development Understanding of enterprise frameworks and technologies, and supporting architecture and design patterns 10+ years of experience with enterprise architecture tools and processes (eg. Build Intent, Technical architecture, enterprise architecture) 10+ years of experience in cloud-based technologies (eg.
